Banned From Twitch Because of Cosplay

Twitch has temporarily dished out a ban to Lithuanian streamer Karina "Karupups" Martsinkevich after she used dark skin makeup to cosplay Apex Legends' character Lifeline during a stream on Saturday. On the stream, Martsinkevich was using Twitch's "Just Chatting" feature as she prepared her cosplay of the character to an audience of about 100-200 viewers.

Karupups stream was ended before it could finish by Twitch, who has a policy that prohibits the usage of blackface. At the moment, Twitch hasn't commented on the issue, but it did hit the account with a 30-day ban.

We’re getting to a point where nothing is allowed. The context here, for example. She isn’t making fun of black people in any way. She’s trying to remain true to the character, who happens to be black.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Rumored to Have Sekiro and Dark Souls-Like Combat

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an upcoming 2019 single-player action-adventure video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. Announced during E3 2018 the game is set in the Star Wars universe shortly after Order 66.

Respawn boss Vince Zampella has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a story-driven, single-player game. There will be no multiplayer and no microtransaction, this means the game will renounce to recent trends in favor of delivering players a focused narrative.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order writer Chris Avellone has said story is "very important to Respawn" in concern to the upcoming game.  Avellone said in an interview with VG247. "Story was very important to Respawn. I think they do a good job of introducing various narrative layers into their games already, but they think the story is an important part of what they perceive to be a Star Wars game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's combat will be compared to Dark Souls, according to the leaker, and will have parrying like Sekiro. The leaker then added that players will “feel like a Jedi” when playing the game. Even if this information is accurate, it doesn’t necessarily mean that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's combat will be as tough as Dark Soul or Sekiro.

As for the rest of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order's gameplay, it will reportedly be a linear single-player experience with some open world elements. Players will travel to multiple planets as a pre-made male protagonist, along with their companion droid. The game will apparently use Unreal Engine 4 and will also draw comparisons to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and the Uncharted games


Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is scheduled to release Fall 2019. Respawn hasn't announced scheduled platforms for Jedi: Fallen Order, but the game is presumably releasing for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

PewDiePie Picks DLive as Exclusive Live-Streaming Platform, Will Give Away up to $50,000 to Other Creators

PewDiePie, YouTube’s most popular individual creator, is promoting DLive, a live-streaming video service that promises to offer better economic terms for its creators than other major platforms.

PewDiePie says he will use DLive exclusively (for the next several months, anyway) to present weekly live-streams, and programmed his first stream on 14 of April at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, at dlive.tv/pewdiepie.

The DLive service doesn’t take a cut of the revenue generated by live-streaming creators through subscriptions or digital “gifts” and it pledges that it never will. That’s compared with other providers, which keeps 50% of channel subscription revenue. In addition, DLive generates credits to reward other participating live-streamers based on consumption of their content.

In his first DLive live-stream, PewDiePie will donate up to $50000 (in Lino Points, the platform’s currency) to other Dlive platform live-streamers as a way to encourage more uptake.

“DLive is a place where instead of competing against each other, it benefits creators to support one another,” said Wilson Wei, co-founder of Lino Network. 

“PewDiePie has always been a fierce advocate for the value that creators bring with their hard work, time and effort, and he believes in DLive’s vision.”

Dangerous Driving

 Dangerous Driving is a racing game and considered by the developers as a spiritual sequel to the Burnout series. Players, after selecting a car and track, attempt to beat the other races (computer-controlled, or other online players). Dangerous Driving includes the same crash elements from Burnout; players can ram opponents into the sides of the track or oncoming damage to cause them to crash (known as Takedowns), temporarily stopping them from racing before their car respawns and they can continue on.

Bethesda is Doing it Again as FALLOUT 76 Adds more PAY2WIN ITEMS to its CASH SHOP!

On this day 5 years ago Bethesda released Elder Scrolls Online, it was a mess, bugged and broken, there were things hidden behind a paywall that was a terrible decision for the game and on top of everything it also had a subscription model.

 ZeniMax Online actually identified and took action against those massive issues.

We have this wonderful redemption story with Zenimax Online and then you have this unbelievable fall from grace with Bethesda and their Fallout 76, and with the controversy that came out with the game.


 Only a couple of days ago at Pax East, Todd Howard came to speak about Fallout 76, instead of coming out and taking some responsibility for the problems it caused and telling the truths, trying to get people back and get some good faith again, he only doubled down on the lies, he told us that there are millions of players on Fallout 76 and the game was a massive success that did very well. 

Just a few days later we get the patch notes, they are adding the repair kits that can be purchased with real money from the Atomic Shop and only from the Atomic Shop, it does not drop, cannot be crafted and only a single use consumable.

Bethesda claims this change came out because the players were asking for it.

Bethesda promised that Fallout 76 will NOT be a pay to win, but they already broke that promise previously with the suits that you could buy in the Atomic Shop which gave you buffs, teaming up with other people will increase the buffs.

You are paying real money to receive an in-game advantage that is pay to win, and now they are adding more to their broken promise.
