The Story Behind Anthem Exposed

Hype Down: The Story Behind Anthem ExposedThe newest Bioware game Anthem has been exposed by Kotaku journalist Jason Schreier.

It wasn’t even supposed to be called Anthem. Just a few days before the annual convention at E3 2017, when Bioware studios would reveal their newest game, they have planned to go with the title: Beyond. They'd even printed out Beyond T-shirts. The development of the game started mid 2012, and until E3 2017 they`d had a lot of problems like: Frostbite engine was not supporting RPG games, so they had to hack and exploit the engine to make it work, they had to build everything from zero, even if they had the tools from Dragon Age: Inquisition, they wanted something different, and if this wasn`t enough they also had a lot of talented people leaving the company because of the poor leadership and miss management, no one had a clue on how the game will be or what is wanted to be, in the game early days did not have to option to fly and the project was declined by the EA's CEO and pushed back to the drawing board, and then they came up with the flying ability and also had the rework the entire map to support flying. Also, the game was supposed to have multiple cities but the game ends it up with just a fort. After The E3 2017, the dev team understood what the game was supposed to be, and in one year they had to make what they have seen at E3 2017, they had little time and work overtime to make the game by gluing all the pieces together to deliver the game until March 2019. The game in his "final state" had a lot of problems and to sums up the game wee just have paid 60 bucks to beta test the game. Click here for the full story How BioWare's Anthem Went Wrong
